The proper way to apply makeup is different depending on what occasion it is for.When going for a dramatic effect i like to use a darker blush such as a sand color.First thing to start with is foundation.To find the right foundation color use the skin on the top of your hand as a guide.Apply foundation in an upward motion so that it blends well into your face.Next you apply the brush along the cheekbone making sure to spread it evenly.After you apply your foundation you should start on your eye makeup.For dramatic eye makeup go with a soft look on the lips and vise versa.Apply your eyeshadow patting the eye sponge on your eyelid so that you don't get the eyeshadow on your cheeks.Now you would apply your eyeliner to the lower lid of your eye and upper lid if applicable.Mascara is the last step of the eyes.This is because if you use your mascara first your eyeshadow will fall on your eyelashes and stick making them look "dusty".Now for the lips,Apply lip liner to the edge of your lips.For making lips fuller apply Lip liner a bit over your natural lips and apply lipstick to that area.Last step is applying lipstick.Pick a shade that pulls the look together and apply.
