How To Properly...
Change a Tire
How to change a tire? First, you need to find a way to safely lift your vehicles tires off the ground near the tire you need changed. You can find this by looking for the frame or nearly any metal place that is secure and stable. But, before you lift the vehicle off of the ground you need to raise the jack so it is resting against the metal you are going to lift it with and STOP there.
Then you need to take the lug nuts(the nuts that hold the rim on) and loosen those with a lug wrench. You do not have to take them all the way off now, just loosen them. Once you get that done, you can lift the vehicle. You only need to lift it just high enough so the tire leaves the ground. However, do not climb under the vehicle with it lifted with out extra support. After that you can finish taking the lug nuts off and remove the old tire.
Finally, put the new tire on and tighten lug nuts. You won't be able to fully tighten the lug nuts until the vehicle is on the ground. Once you get the lug nuts on as tight as you can with the vehicle in the air, slowly release the jack so the vehicle rests back on the ground. Then you need to retighten the lug nuts, after driving 100 or so miles retighten the lug nuts as they may loosen from the vibrations.
