Fill Out a Job Application
In the recent past, most of us have realized the competition of getting on a job, than ever – the reason “recession”. At this juncture, if you are searching for a job and filling up an application for the same, then read ahead --- this article can help you better.
1. Fill in your name as found in your certificates.
2. Give the mobile number that you really use with the code. Avoid giving your alternate number or the numbers which you might put off.
3. Give your contact address clearly, preferably with some landmarks.
4. Fill up your qualifications and the marks you have scored exactly how it appears in your certificates. (Don’t try to favor yourself by rounding off to higher.) Mention if your institution followed a different pattern of evaluating like CGPA, CLASS etc!!
5. Fill exactly what qualifications you possess related to the job profile and do not fake.
6. Provide your experience details with a testimonial preferably.
7. If you really don’t have a skill that is required, reflect it. Don’t try to beat-round on the skills or subjects that you never touched.
8. Give relevant references, i.e references of those from the same industry. Don’t give the references of your school teacher /Professors/HOD. I fear it might show you unprofessional, if you do so.
9. Give your preference of location and salary expected.
10. Don’t forget to give your signature, place and date – that gives a completion to the form. Have it in mind that most of the time, unsigned forms irritate the recruiters.
