How To Properly...
Wrap a Gift
When wrapping a gift we need to look at the size of the package. What occasion it's for will determine what type of wrapping paper we will use. Once you know how big the package will be then you will find paper accordingly. You want a roll of wrapping paper that extends past the edges of the package on both sides. Solid color wrapping paper is the best as it can be used for any occasion.
First we unroll or lay out the paper. Place the package on the paper and bring the front of the paper to the top of the package and tape it to the top of the package so that it covers a little over half the surface. Then bring the roll up and put the paper over the top paper so it covers the tape. Cut it here and that's how long the paper will be. Now make the sides of the paper the same length so that each flap will cover just over half of the package. Cut on both side. Tape the paper on the top so it wraps it around one way. What we do now is take the sides of the paper and bring them toward the package so that the bottom and top corners can fold toward the center of the paper. Tape this to the box, repeat on other side. Now what we have created is two flaps on both sides of the package on top and bottom. now take the flap and fold it onto the package and tape. Do this with all four flaps. Now just slap a bow on it and your done. You can also wrap smaller gift like a candy. just wrap a length of paper around the gift and twist it at both ends and tie with ribbon to make it look like a big piece of candy.
